The Nutcracker
As obligatory to the festive season as turkey and Christmas pudding, the perennially popular ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ returns to the stage. It’s lively a visual feast that is fun for children and adults alike. In 1891, the legendary choreographer Marius Petipa commissioned Tchaikovsky to write the music for a ballet version of ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’ by ETA Hoffman and the rest is history. The Hong Kong Ballet traditionally sells out its seasonal run and this year will be no exception, so book early.
