Carlo Scarpa

Venice’s greatest modern architect is the subject of a career retrospective in three parts, spread between Venice, Verona and Vicenza. In Verona’s palladian masterpiece Palazzo Barbaran there is a fascinating display of his works in private homes. In Vicenza’s Museo del Castelvecchio, there is a study of his museum projects and re-developments. In all three towns there are specially constructed itineraries to take visitors around the different projects undertaken by Scarpa during his lifetime. A must see for all architecture buffs.
